Planet Bollywood

Planet Bollywood, Acrylic on Canvas, 2011, 102x127cms

-->
Being part of many live action shoots of Mumbai film industry I understand the inside stories of the people involved in it. I have shown compressed narratives of people behind the camera, which is the back end of glitz and glamour.  For me Planet Bollywood also has another side where hundreds of very skilled migrants from different parts of the country come to a point to fulfill their dreams. This is a depiction of professionals doing small or big jobs with lot of dedication and synchronization in extremely vulnerable conditions.
