The Silence

The series of drawings were done during a live performance named ‘The silence’ at the Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. Astad Deboo (dancer-choreographer) performed rhythmic expressions of Navras (nine emotions of life) with group of girls from the Chennai-based School for the Deaf. The project was to come up with spontaneous drawings that was commissioned by DNA Newspaper. I also got the opportunity to interact with girls in the green room and had a great time with them. Their energy and enthusiasm gave me immense happiness.
