Postal art
is about sending small-scale art works through postal service. I have
been collaborating on this project with some of my friends who are staying in different
places. In these series of letters we decided to depict our old memories. In one of the letter with Stephanie Cailleau who is a textile
designer and a visual artist currently residing in a small town named Die,
Drome in France, we depicted our experiences about each other’s country. I wanted to show her surrounded by different
animals because I remembered Stephanie getting really fascinated by animals walking
on streets of Ahmedabad.
